What will happen with Data Transfers After Brexit in the Light of UK Surveillance Laws? Max Schrems, founder NOYB – European Center for Digital Rights, explains.

If the UK Government pass a withdrawal agreement through the House of Commons, it is anticipated that the UK will be granted adequacy regarding the flow of data between the UK and the EU. In the event of ‘no-deal’, Britain will have to secure an adequacy agreement to prove that EU data stored in the UK will have the same protections as it would do on the continent.

This timely presentation holds Brexit scenarios up to the light of the UK’s own data surveillance laws, to establish the future picture of privacy for UK citizens.
