Tuval Chesler, Cyber Security Strategy Consultant | Former Senior Advisor to CEO, NCSA-IL | LSE Msc MIS | Looking for my next challenge
A London-based Israeli, Tuval Chesler is an experienced cyber security consultant. He had served for two years as the Senior Advisor to the CEO of the Israeli National Cyber Security Authority (parallel to the British NCSC; re-branded 2019 as ‘Cyber Israel’), where he managed all professional aspects of the office. As part of his role, he led and coordinated high priority, cross-governmental cyber security projects and worked with multiple organizations and agencies to enhance cyber security resilience. He also collaborated in developing new products and services to the NCSA’s clientele. During his time there, the NCSA had dealt with hundreds of high impact cyber incidents and worked with numerous enterprises across the country – from the CNI to SMEs – to better their security posture.
Tuval had also worked for the Israeli branch of advisory firm BDO – a Tier 1 cyber security consultancy – as a strategic consultant to the Israeli Ministry of Health (which is the owner of the majority of health funds in the country). Amongst his projects there, which all were handled directly by the top MoH executives, were the development of a first Health-specific Cyber Security Framework and Controls as well as setting the foundations for the creation of a health cyber response team (CareCERT).
Currently, Tuval is completing his MSc in Management of Info-systems at the LSE, and is looking to bring his experience and capabilities to his next role in London.
